"Somewhere Over The Rainbow" came from the movie "Wizard of Oz" (1939). It was sung by Judy Garland and the song became her signature tune. Since then, many versions of this song were produced.

The different songs are all nice in a way, but the original is still the best :)
The rhythms of the 4 songs, some are a bit fast and some are quite slow. Same to the melody. The most interesting one is the small girl singing 'Somewhere over the rainbow'. Such a small girl can move the judges' heart, which means her voice is really good and sweet!!!

the second version is a bit slow and dragging very soft and sung at own tone but the wizard of oz is sung to tune and is very rehersed both are nice but the colour is a bit old and the first one is colourful

my favourite version is the one which connie sings,her voice is so nice!!the version which Judy Garland sang is nice too,her voice sounds so mature....in short i love this song!!
different tune,melodyand rhythm. The one sung by connie talbot had a sweet voice that i've never heard before from a six year old. The one by judy garland was relaxing and higher-pitched. The one by eva had a sentimal and blues feel to it.

The song quite nice but i still prefer a faster version ,the little girl's version sounds so dreamy. The melody was different for different artistes ,everyone has their own style.The instruments are basically the same as they need to create a dreamy feeling.

From the original song to a mordern song. The melodies, rhythm, improvisation have all changed.
A 6 year old girl, connie tablot actually managed to sing till she moved the judge. Her voice is really nice and sweet!
Eva Cassidy's version was then another different feel with abit blues. Although only guitar was used for instruments, she got the song out nice with her voice!

The original has a soothing, smooth feel while the others are either sweet, lovely or have a slight sudden rough edge.
Connie Talbot's voice was sweet, and gave a touching feel that made people able to feel the words and melody that gave them a sense of sadness.[And then made them cry XD]
Israel had the beats in mind, making us feel like we're in Hawaii and had the slight rough edge that seemed to jump at times.
Eva Cassidy's was slow, and soothing and can make people close their eyes to feel the song at it's fullest.
The original, Judy Garland's[Wizard of Oz], was still the best as it had a smooth feel. The song was sung in a way that made us able to know the feelings even if we don't[bother] remembering the words :P

the speed of the song determines the most.....it changes the whole feeling!and the pitch too.....eva has a slower speed resulting it to sound very sentimental...Connie kept a constant speed so it wasnt that good but it was still astonishingly nice for a 8 years old.....her voice just rox!
